IH Baku is looking for a native English teacher to fulfill the full time teacher  vacancy for 2016/ 2017    academy  year .

Requirement

- CELTA  qualified  

- be able work with adults & teenagers

- be able to teach exam classes

 International  House Baku in partnership with International House Tbilisi will be starting its first CELTA course on the 15th August . The 4 weeks intensive course will be held at IH Baku office .

LESSONS START

Lessons start as soon as groups are formed. The number of students is not more than 8 person.

 

STANDARD COURSES

 

Lesson held 2-3 times a week for 1.5 hours, duration of the course is 3 months, 50 hrs.

 

INTENSIVE COURSES

 

Lessons hel 4 times a week 3 hours(12 hours per week). Duration of the course is 1,5 month, 50 hrs.

 

LEVELS

 

  • Beginner  - 40 hrs
  • Elementary – 90-120 hrs
  • Pre-Intermediate – 90-120 hrs
  • Early-Intermediate – 90-120 hrs
  • Mid-Intermediate – 90-120 hrs
  • Late-Intermediate – 120 hrs
  • Pre-Advances – 120 hrs
  • Advanced – 120 hrs

 

Total 760-880 hrs

 

BEFORE YOU START

 

All students are routinely tested on registration for courses to assess an appropriate level. The result of the test will decide level course the student should undertake. Students are reassessed constantly, especially during the first lessons, to ensure that the course level is correct for their ability.

 

ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE

 

All students receive a Certificate of Course Completion following attendance at 48 or more of course hours. Students will receive certificate of International House Baku in case of 90% of attendance and in case of successful passing the final test.
